TERMS & CONDITIONS

When booking a tattoo appointment and paying a deposit with artists at Black Hound Tattoo, it's important to understand the terms and conditions that apply.

The deposit is a commitment to your booking date and is non-refundable. A deposit allows the artist to begin the design process. You have 1 year from the date the deposit was paid to make a booking, but if you fail to do so, the deposit will be forfeited. The appointment may take place outside of this timeframe, but it must be confirmed.

The deposit will be lost if you cancel the appointment with less than 72 hours' notice, change the brief or provide alternate information with less than 72 hours' notice, or fail to attend a scheduled appointment. Additionally, if an appointment is not confirmed or booked within 12 months of the deposit being paid, the deposit will also be lost.

If you need to reschedule your appointment, you may do so at no additional charge or loss of deposit if you provide at least 72 hours' notice. It's important to note that the deposit covers the entire tattoo process and not just the design. The artist retains ownership of any bespoke artwork created for the tattoo and is not required to provide the design in the event of a cancellation.

Designs will typically be drawn for the scheduled appointment date, but where possible, they may be provided in advance in draft form. If a design has not been provided in advance, time will be scheduled into the appointment for minor changes and amendments as required.

When making your booking, the artist will request all the relevant information required for the design process, including photos and reference images. It's your responsibility as the client to provide the correct information. It's also important to research the artist's portfolio of work, which is available on the website, Facebook, and Instagram.

Lastly, please note that the term "tattoo" refers to the entire process, including consultations, communications, design, tattooing processes, and any other work required by the artist. The deposit value will vary depending on each tattoo, and the artist will advise you at the point of booking.
